The key objective of the Assignment is to support Bank of Morocco (BAM) in raising awareness and building capacity in the Moroccan financial sector with regards to climate and environmental risk management, disclosures, and promotion of green investments.

The activities include: ​

- Survey of the current climate-related practices in the financial sector ​.

- High-level conference on integrating climate risks in the risk management and governance frameworks of Moroccan FIs .

- ​Capacity building programme for both BAM and FIs to enhance climate risk practices on the Moroccan market ​.
