Incorporating climate risk into the African Development Bank’s credit risk management framework to better identify, assess, and mitigate physical and transition climate-related risks across sovereign and non-sovereign exposures in Africa. The project focuses on enhancing resilience and aligning the bank’s credit risk practices with global best practices and regulatory standards.

Climate Lens Advisors (CLA), acting as a subcontractor to Deloitte under the EBRD Corporate Climate Governance (CCG) Facility, supported Xac Bank in Mongolia in strengthening its climate risk management capabilities and developing an institutional Climate Transition Plan. The assignment included climate risk materiality assessment, scenario analysis, and the development of a portfolio-level climate stress testing framework. The project enabled the bank to integrate climate risk into its risk management processes and define strategic climate targets aligned with international best practices.

This project aims to develop a green taxonomy framework for Kenya's financial sector, leveraging best practices and fostering collaboration between the Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) and stakeholders to enhance climate risk management and disclosures .

This project aims to support the Bank of Morocco (BAM) in enhancing climate risk management and promoting green investments in the financial sector. Key activities include surveying current practices, organizing a high-level conference, and implementing a capacity-building program for BAM and financial institutions.

Development of TDB's Climate Strategy and Framework

Climate Lens Advisors (CLA), as subcontractor to DAI for the EIB’s GREEN GATEWAY Programme, supports central banks and commercial banks across multiple countries in developing climate risk frameworks, green finance strategies, IFRS S1/S2-aligned reporting, and capacity building. Our work enables financial institutions to integrate climate considerations, promote sustainable finance, and advance net-zero and climate-resilient financial systems.

A comparative analysis using IFRS S2 and BCBS assesses AFDB's portfolio, upgrading the climate rating model and stress testing for Expected and Unexpected Loss.

The project focuses on developing a climate and sustainability reporting framework, providing tools for climate risk analysis, and delivering training on climate risk practices to the Central Bank of Armenia and the wider financial sector.
